From harvest to table ~ what's cooking now?

This blog shows where all those garden goodies I grow end up. I call this little eating area next to the stove my "chef's table" because at all the best restaurants it's a privilege to be invited to dine in the kitchen where the chef reigns supreme. So here I am "reigning" and you are all invited. :-D

Colorful cuisine

I got very tired of oatmeal and/or egg&oatmeal wedges for breakfast.  

I started skipping breakfast out of boredom.  

Best way to overcome that is to color up the plate.  I really look forward to meals like this now.  So many tastes and texture.  So much color.  Okay, it may take longer than just grabbing something or popping something into the microwave.  But, man, the payoff is worth it.  Yum!

    1. Oh, it's not all breakfast (just the ones w/toast). Some (like with the chopped meatloaf, salmon & stirfry) were lunch/suppers. I'm just showing how appetizing colorful meals can stimulate an appetite.
